Anthologies, Publications, and March Badness

Lots of updates! Here’s the quick run down—

Recently, I was thrilled to learn that my story “An Imaginary Number,” which first appeared in Monkeybicyle, was selected by Michael Martone (!!!) for Best Microfiction 2020!

In related news, “The Key Bearer’s Parents,” which first appeared in American Short Fiction, is included in the new anthology, Teacher Voice.

I was stoked to see my essay “Ankle” in Issue 9 of Pithead Chapel, and my poem “California, or Something to Do with the West” in the last Epoch.

Please vote for my essay on Helen Reddy’s “I Am Woman” in the upcoming March Badness competition! There are other essay publications in the works as well, which I will post to Twitter (@borrowedhorses) as they appear.
